Going to try out a new series, called 'Small Business Spotlight'. Exactly what it is. Today, I came across a women-owned, small business based called Nyaara, which specializes in hand-block-printed quilts. I love the art of hand-block printing, which is done using wooden blocks specifically carved with intricate designs, then dipped in dye and carefully layered over sustainable fabrics. This shop has some lovely pieces, and they also donate a quilt for every quilt bought. Go check it out and also see some of my favorite pieces below.
